Hugh joined the team at Woods & Co Lawyers in 2015. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in early 2018, after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice from Flinders University.
Hugh regularly appears before the Magistrates Court of South Australia and the District Court of South Australia in criminal proceedings.
He has additionally represented clients with disciplinary hearings, having experience dealing with the Teachers Registration Board, the International Crime Corporation Central Authority, the Parole Board of South Australia, and the Firearms Registrar of South Australia.
In 2017 Hugh attended the national Australian Law Students Association competition in Canberra. He won the Witness Examination Competition and was named the Australian and New Zealand Champion. He becomes the second South Australian to achieve this since the competition began in 1981.
