Stefania Swart Solicitor at Woods & Co Lawyers

Prior to beginning her legal career as a Solicitor at Woods and Co Lawyers in 2023, Stefania worked as a Criminal Legal Secretary and Law Clerk. Having been exposed to the criminal justice system over these three years, Stefania’s passion for Criminal Defence Law quickly emerged and she was determined to become a strong advocate for her clients.

Stefania is committed to ensuring that justice is served for her clients whilst upholding the fundamentals of law with integrity.

Her unwavering dedication to Criminal Law has been the driving force behind her academic and professional achievements. Working full-time and having simultaneously graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Major in Criminology), Stefania’s ability to balance her work and studies showcases her exceptional time-management skills.

Not only is this a reflection of her unyielding determination to succeed but, her seamlessness to perform in varying challenging and fast-paced environments.

Stefania was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia as a Barrister and Solicitor May 2023.

Michael Woods is passionate about the firm and commitment to excellence. He has trained many solicitors who have now opened their own practice. He opened the firm in 2000 after working for a leading defence criminal lawyer.

Hugh WoodsSolicitor

Hugh joined our team in 2015 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2018. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice. He has developed his own following and is committed to your matter.

Ben ChehadeSolicitor

Ben Chehade graduated with an Honours Degree in Law from the University of Adelaide in 2012. After owning a successful business, he returned the law, focusing on criminal and traffic law. He is hardworking and strives for excellence.

Vivian NgoSolicitor

Vivian joined Woods & Co to practise exclusively in Criminal Law after having worked in general practice across a broad range of areas including criminal and civil law. She has experience instructing preeminent counsel across all jurisdictions. Vivian is bilingual and speaks Vietnamese.
